It is a season of classic summer adventures. 

Big River

Winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book is one of America's best musicals. Enjoy the mythic adventure down the Mississippi River adapted from Mark Twain's great American novel "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" with Huck Finn, Tom Sawyer, Jim the run a way slave and the colorful characters they meet along the way. The production features knee slapping, soul raising blue grass, country and gospell music by Roger Miller. This is a perfect show for a summer's eve.   Consider coming to our opening night Mississippi Barbecue!

A modern day thriller that adapts both part 1 & 2.  H4 is inspired by Fox TV's 24.  STONC is now offering stage side dining tables and preferred orchestra seats that can be reserved early with a donation.  More info at: stonc.org.

Shakespeare for Kids

This is our hour long audience interactive Shakespeare for children and young families. Enjoy a fun abridged version of H4- Henry IV adapted to introduce children to the joy of Shakespeare and clearly explain the play's storyline. Many return to see the full production and enjoy a rich experience. Saturdays 2PM during the Shakespeare summer run.

State-of-the-Art Tent Theatre

STONC provides over two hundred protected theater seats under our spacious Open-air Tent Theater - plus additonal open field seating outside of the tent theater for hundreds more.  For Big River, all seating under the tent is reserved and can be purchased online, by phone or at the tent theater box office 1 hour prior to the performance. New this year are reserved Dining Box seats  and stage side picnic tables where you can picnic prior or during performance.  Hillside/field outdoor seating starts, 60 minutes prior to curtain. Tent opens 30 minutes prior to performance for reserved ticket holders.  All children shows are general admission with open seating under the tent. Seating begins 30 minutes prior to performance.
