Directions From The Merritt Parkway (and from the North, East & South)
Exit 37 Merritt Parkway. Turn left at light (South Ave.) proceed about 1 mile to Farm Road traffic light. Turn Left onto Farm Road. Turn left in 200 yards (New Canaan High School entrance). Proceed about 1/4 mile to Dunning Field Parking lot.

Directions From points West & North
Toward New Canaan from RT 7 - turn onto Rt 106 (Ridgefield Rd) Follow into New Canaan to South Ave (RT 124) take to Farm Road Light, turn right go 200 yards (New Canaan High School entrance). Proceed about 1/4 mile to Dunning Field Parking lot. Outdoor Theater adjacent to Parking area. (Picnic area just beyond).
Toward New Canaan from RT 123-turn onto Rt 106 (East Avenue) Follow into New Canaan to South Ave (RT 124) take to Farm Road Light, turn right go 200 yards (New Canaan High School entrance).Proceed about 1/4 mile to Dunning Field Parking lot. Outdoor Theater adjacent to Parking area. (Picnic area just beyond).
Toward New Canaan from RT 124 - follow toward New Canaan (turns into South Avenue) take to Farm Road Light, turn right go 200 yards (New Canaan High School entrance). Proceed about 1/4 mile to Dunning Field Parking lot. Outdoor Theater adjacent to Parking area. (Picnic area just beyond).
Directions from South (RT 106)
Follow RT 106 toward New Canaan turn right onto Farm Road, (3rd traffic light past Merrit Parkway) (New Canaan High School entrance 1/4 mile on your right). Proceed about 1/4 mile to Dunning Field Parking lot. Outdoor Theater adjacent to Parking area. (Picnic area just beyond).

Directions by Train from NY or New Haven (About 1 hour from NY or New Haven)
Metro North: Take train to Stamford CT, switch to New Canaan train take to New Canaan stop (last station on route). Take taxi to New Canaan High School (5 minutes) go past Dunning Stadium. Theater straight ahead.
Alternate: take train to Talmidge Hill stop (2nd to last stop). Walk up hill make first left. Waveny Park 200 yards up on right. Follow entry road till you see the outdoor theater on your left. (About one mile walk from train stop to Outdoor Theater)

Picnics welcome!
Wonderful picnic locations and gardens all around Waveny Mansion (A three minutes walk from the theater) Also picnics welcome on the grass slope overlooking the stage. Please bring your blankets and chairs. Theater seating provided for all ticket holders.
