STOOPKID STORIES LIVE! - A musical play about friendship and empowerment

StoopKids1web

An exciting new musical play commissioned by STONC and adapted from the hit children's podcast Stoopkid Stories by Melissa Victor. The live show presents a group of inner city children who are friends as they tell their story regarding everyday social and school challenges (most children will recognize and face in school).  The StoopKids help each other and show how friendship, hard work and believing in yourself pays off. Exciting songs and dance compliment the creative story telling.  K - 7th grade audiences have loved the show and educators have requested we bring the show to their schools.

Robin Hood

tya touring robin hoodWith his band of brothers, Robin & Little John are seeking to rid the land of evil and return hope to the mistreated. It’s a tale that’s been told a thousand times, although never quite like this by two actors performing muliple roles. See heroes and villains, sword fights and surprises, love and loss. Robin Hood keeps children on the edge of their seats, howling as two amazing actors perform over 20 characters and creatively repurpose everyday items students use in schools to tell the story.

"The Summer Theatre of New Canaan's recent performance of The Adventures of Robin Hood energized and inspired our entire student body! Every element of the production exceeded our expectations; from the professional staging, lighting and sound to the dynamic actors who truly engaged all students. The kids were buzzing about exciting storytelling and hopeful for more theatrical experiences to come to our school! Thanks again for bringing such a well-crafted experience to our kids!"   Principal - Darien Elementary School - CT
