TWELFTH NIGHT
June 19-July 12 at 7:30 pm

Irwin Park will come alive once again, this year with the excitement of Shakespeare's comedy Twelfth Night. Our fanciful production will be set on a remote tropical island. We will take you on a summer fling filled with love, island music, mistaken identities, fun and frolic. Join Shakespeare's famous lovers, Olivia, Orsino, Sebastian and Viola along with the rich, comic characters Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Feste, Sir Toby Belch and Malvolio as they take you on a crazy summer getaway. Be ready to get whisked away to the islands.

SHAKESPEARE FOR KIDS is back!
Saturdays June 21, 28, July 5, 12 at 2:00 pm

Join the laughter under the Big Top as kids learn about Shakespeare the fun way with a 50 minute shortened version of 12th Night. This highly physical, hilarious and interactive show is geared to kids 4-8 years and their parents.

SixSIX IMPOSSIBLE THINGS
June 27, 28, 29, July 4, 5, 6 at 11:00 am

Our Theatre for Young Audiences invites children to defy the limits of possibility with three of literature's best-loved heroines in the east-coast premiere of Six Impossible Things. Created and performed by Chicago's Filament Theatre Ensemble, Six Impossible Things follows the experiences of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Alice from Alice in Wonderland, and Wendy from Peter Pan on their journeys through fantastical lands. Perfect for children from 4-10, but it will connect with and empower the child in everyone.

THE MUSIC MAN
July 17-28 at 7:30,
With weekend Matinees at 2 PM

In July, Prof. Harold Hill comes to town in Meredith Willson's Broadway hit musical The Music Man. With glorious music like "Seventy-Six trombones", "Trouble", "Goodnight, My Someone" and "Lyda Rose", this production with full orchestra, beautiful sets and costumes and a cast of wonderful performers will be the highlight of your summer. We will be using the wonderful Rich Forum Theatre in Stamford to stage this production. Treat your friends or family to a great experience! Click here for auditions.

I hope to see you at all of the productions this summer. Come and get away from it all, as the Summer Theatre of New Canaan lets your imagination take you on a ride like you will never forget!

We thank all our sponsors, supporters, volunteers, local merchants, the Town of New Canaan, our talented professional staff and company of actors and designers, interns and our appreciative audience for helping us continue our mission of professional family theater.

Melody Libonati,
Artistic Director
